I love these forums, the only problem is there's SO many I have to go through before I've seen all the discussion. It's mostly not a problem I suppose it's useful to have a technique section and gear section and such, for search purposes, but it seems to me that the Music Lounge, the Guitarists/Musicians and the Styles forum are identical. Why not get rid of the latter two and make this place a little easier to visit?

I mean, I understand if someone wants info on a certain technique or guitar or whatever, they can search a specific forum and that's why they're there. However the Styles, Music Lounge and Guitarists forum are being used for the same purpose, and it makes it tedious. So maybe it's time to axe (pun intended) two of the forums and make it easier to browse Cyberfret.com.

Also, the Misfit guitar info is kinda useless as well, why not just use one of the regular guitar forums and make it easier on everyone?

Stuffing all of that information/topics into one forum would not be well-advised. You'd have so many 'new' topics that it would actually be HARDER to find some relevant ones.

I've got my own forums, and I've had two more in the past, and I know good and well that combining forums is not a good idea for accessibility.

But the three are identical. Or maybe I'm wrong, what exactly is the difference?

styles is about learning how to play different styles of music, blues, country, metal and so on. the bands and guitarists forum is so we can talk about different bands and guitarists, to put it simply. the music forum can have absolutely anything related to music in it, i.e. you could ask about other instruments we play/you want to play, talk about lyrics etc etc etc. they're not really the same imo
