Can anyone let me know of a few easy-to-play and fun bluegrass songs?

Sorry mate i dont really the only bluegrass song i can think of is the Dueling Banjos off Deliverance you can get tabs for that of powertab.net your best bet really is to go on search engines like google and search for bluegrass websites

It's my understanding that most bluegrass music is of a higher difficulty.

Go to www.ezfolk.com This is a site for banjo, guitar, uke and harmonica (sp?) Once there go to the Folk guitar section and click on tabs (it may be called song titles) Most of the guitar songs also work with the banjo selections. Richard has the songs labeled as "M" -- tabs on just the melody line and "MA" for melody line and accompliment chords.

I think this site will give you what you are asking about.

Yea bluegrass is some cool stuff, but I don't know any good songs. Maybe I'll ask my Kentuckian friend.
