Aftern reading about the Epiphone Les Paul and ESP EX-250 I decided against both.

Is a Jackson RR3R any good?

And what's the bridge like? I noticed it was a Floyd Rose style of bridge.

That guitar would be pretty sweet. If I had some cash to spend I'd get a nice randy rhoads Jackson. That one (from the picture) looks as though the quality of the construction is good. The double locking bridge will be pretty good. Those cheap floyds they put on the lower end jacksons stay in tune very well. So this tremolo should perform nicely! I don't know if those pickups are duncan designed or actual seymour duncan pickups. I am not familiar with the 103B and 103N, so I'm betting they are duncan designed and they just called them duncans. If they are not actualy seymour duncan pickups, I'd highly recommend getting different pickups! But yeah, go for that guitar!
