broken bridge

hi im selling my old guitar and the bridge is WAY HIGHER than it should be?
how do i fix this?
in the cheapest way possible.
and = WHATS AN EFFECTIVE WAY OF MAKING SOMEONE BUY A GUITAR

well to help you out with the selling part. It's mean, but it should work

Find someone who is just starting out guitar, and is very impressionable, probably someone a little younger than yourself and is wanting to buy a guitar. Then well get him into talking about buying your guitar, and say you'll show him how it sounds and stuff. Now, just SHOW OFF!!!!! Impress him hard with all the stuff. Then he'll want it heaps (hopefully). That's only if you know it's a crap guitar.

for selling your guitar,you could just take it to some guitar store and ask if they buy used guitars,they usually take them in,even if they're slightly messed up or sound like crap.i think its better than cheating some poor unfortunate soul into buying a worthless piece of junk;) (no offence to your guitar,just dont cheat anyone if the guitar isn't worth it)

No man, selling to stores is the worst way. If the guitar is worth 100 bucks for example, that's all the store can sell it for. So they are going to give you quite a bit less because they can only sell it for its worth and they want to make profit on it. I would say find someone who wants to buy a guitar, don't rip them off, sell it to them for a little less than what it is "worth." If the music store will give you 50 bucks, sell it for 75 or 100.

About adjusting your bridge... I believe that it has two screws on either side of the bridge, just lower them. If it doesnt have those screws, it may have little allen screws on either side of each string saddle, you can also lower these.

hehe, its still in shops for £199 when i checked (friday - today being sunday)
and guitar looks pretty good, 2nd hand (bouhgt off my mate for £50, he wanted to get rid of it cuz he wanted to go out to town on the friday ...silly reason to sell the guitar, but, talkin bout bridges, would it be possible to spray them black or something, to make it look better, or would this affect the way it works?
the person im selling to knows nothing about guitars, ...seriously lol.
how much you reckon i should sell it for? you seem to have much more experience on me .
