Hmmm... I might have said this before, but I like John Squire.
I'd have one or all of his Jackson Pollock esque guitars.

I would want the black and white rickenbacker guitar Lennon played in the early 60''s
dantaz

...if you could get Lennon's Rickenbacker or his Epiphone Casino you could BUY souls...people (like me) would pay to just touch that piece of history...how he could write and perform so much on such marginal equipment...they say the "jumbo" he played in the sixties was "refinished"...they redid it again in the a third time and his new luthier saw this experimented on , tangle of wires and the black finish still hand paint BRUSH strokes...ahhh the 'good old days'...ho ho

Kurt Cobains Blue and Red Fender JagStangs he used on the In Utero tour, either one would do.

Malcolm Young's old Gretsch JetFire Bird. It has only one pick-up and a huge hole in the body, where the other pick-up once was, but who cares?
i like strats

Any of Tom Petty's Martin acoustics.
Any of Kirk or James electric music machines (or any of Satriani's).
Or any electric guitar with a selector switch that won't **** out after six months. :D

My dreams of guitar avarice have largely come true (I have a dot-neck ES-335 and, of course, the PRS) but, like all other guitar players I know, I am fickle, so there are a few axes that have made it into the "Wouldn't mind having one of those" category.
1) Pete Townshend's Schecter Telecaster from the "Eminence Front" video
2) Any of David Gilmour's Strats (I still haven't figured out why Fender hasn't put out a D.G. signature model)
3) Ace Frehley's smokin' Les Paul, just because it's cool.

What about Lenny Kravitzes '76 Flying V with a Gold Mirror pick guard? Now that would be KILLER if that was lefty!

You want killer guitarz? Go to the Japanese ESP site www.espguitars.net Go to the artist series. Look at all the models for the artists on there. There are some pretty whack ones and then theres some pretty kick ass ones!
My dream guitar is a Gibson EDS-1275 double neck. That's my jimmy page fan still alive in me. I would get it through custom shop w/ some different specs such as 24 frets that are actually accessable (the production EDS has 20 frets and like 15 of which are actually possible to use) and both necks be neck-through. I would also have seymour duncans in it. I'd demand that they don't do their normal ****ty production quality on it, I'd have them do custom shop quality. That would be my dream guitar! I have thought about getting the epiphone G-1275, which is a jimmy page look alike double neck, for ****s and giggles. I'd change out all the hardware and electronics though.
wow, there are some really weird guitar models on that website!!
But if you want to have a guitar that looks like some sort of death-ray-phaser-beam from your favorite science fiction show, this is the one to buy :)

SWEET! I wish they made that guitar lefty, and with a trem.

Wow that is weird. I wonder what it sounds like. Doesn't look like it'd sound good, since theres no wood that resonates.
hmm... I have absolutely no idea what it sounds like. However, there actually IS wood that resonates, it's in those blue cylinders. The trick is that those are easily replaceable so that you can enjoy the sound of different woods. I think the blue ones are made out of swamp ash, but you can also order cylinders made out of maple etc..
And because you like that picture, here's the link to the whole website of that company, featuring 2 more ultrasophisticated guitars and lots of information on them. If you are interested in getting one (they are all custom made), you can also do that. The company is located in Germany.. and there is no price information on the site... but the guitars look expensive!!!
http://www.teuffel.com/
The site is really cool! There aren't many guitar manufacturers who have to put sentences like
"Naturally the finish is not radioactive."
on their website :)
I'd want my own guitar, with the body of a Strat, 7 strings, 2 Dimarzio humbucking pickups, a toggle selector switch, a floating whammy bar, and a black and white colour scheme that looks like Jackson Pollock has been taking acid.
Bugger, Steve Vai got there before me with his Universe.
Classical Exile

I'd want one of my own too....
Strat body style with a headstock like James Hetfield's Ken Lawrence Explorer.
All Koa neck thru construction with chichino bark laminate and pao ferro fingerboard with titanium fret wire and sterling silver wolf inlays.
Sperzel locking tuners, Foyd Rose bridge, Dunlop flush mount straplocks, graphite nut and string saddles.
Routed like an ESP so that no pickguard is needed, black speed knobs, Fender style slot switch, 500k pots, master volume and individual tone controls, fully shielded, Seymour Duncan Hotrails in the bridge and Coolrails in the middle and neck all with custom chrome covers.
Nice picture aint it?.

Cool looking guitars! That's why I come to these forums, to learn about different gear.
PRS custom for me, color isn't important. I WILL own one, one day.
ESP_Viper, Don't waste your money on that Epi. I bought a Epi. Ace Freely model LP, the giggles lasted a couple of days but it has never seen the stage. Not quite up to snuff! It looks good though...If that counts for anything.
Dream guitar? Gibson 100 year anniversary model, the one with diamonds & gold, but it would always be under glass. Not what guitars are for, they ain't jewlery!

I have an epiphone too. It sucks. That's why I said I'd buy that guitar and change all the hardware and electronics. So it'd just be epiphone wood, litterally. By the way, Epi actually does exist... lower line to epiphone. Really ****ty guitars.
