EMG 81 & 85 Wiring Question

Alrite Guys

I got a pair of EMG 81 & EMG 85 and installed them into my Jackson DKMG.
The diagram below is how I thought it should be wired.

http://img225.imageshack.us/my.php?i...diagramxr6.png

When I test the guitar the volume & tone controls don`t seem to work, the afterburner (30db gain boost) seems fine, and when I hit the pickups they seem as if they will work but it also appears as if sum voltage is going through me to ground as it makes a buzzing sound when I touch either pickup.
The volume and tone are 25k which came with the pickups and Ive changed the input jack to the one supplied. The ground wire from the bridge pickup is not connected as it says not to one the instrcutions I printed off from EMG`s website on how to install te EMG - ZW set (even though these aren`t, they are the same pickups so I thought it would be the same)

Can anyone give me any advice as to where Ive gone wrong?

Cheers
Guys

When I installed my EMGs I used a diagram from the EMG website. Maybe check there, they might have a different diagram that will work for you.
